Chris is from Monroe, Louisiana. Whitney’s from Cincinnati. We met working corporate jobs in Dallas—Whitney in digital marketing, Chris in finance—and started building homes in 2018. Since then, we’ve built more than most people do in a lifetime. And every time, the same problems showed up.
In 2023, we moved to Florida after wrapping up a 28-month build—easily the most painful project we’ve ever been through. Missed deadlines. Hidden charges. Confusing fine print. Builders ghosting us for weeks. It was a mess—and we knew we weren’t alone.
